Rise of the Ronin is, from many perspectives, Koei Tecmo's most ambitious adventure and its arrival on PC should be celebrated for providing even more enthusiasts of the theme and fans of the studio with access to it.However, between mistakes and successes in the adaptation, here we have yet another proof that PC ports require a lot of attention during their creation. Therefore, it is difficult to recommend this version more widely until its most serious problems are solved and the performance is within expectations for different hardware configurations, both above and below average. Until then, we hope that, one day, the adventure of the nameless warrior can in fact be experienced in all its glory on computers as well.

Overall, though its slip-ups are easy to notice, we still have an interesting adventure worth checking out for fans of RPG who aren't afraid of diving into a musical world that's as eccentric as it's provocative.

For the creativity involved and the fun it provides, Two Point Museum certainly deserves to be in the pantheon of the best simulators of all time, crowning the Two Point trilogy with what can be considered its most ambitious game to date. Inventive, relaxed and challenging, this is a title recommended both for those who are just getting to know the franchise and for those who have been following it since its inception, a few good years ago in a certain very crazy hospital. For this curious gala exhibition, let there be no doubt: the entrance fee is more than justified.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 disappoints in its long-awaited debut on PC, delivering an adventure that falls short of the expectations created since its launch on PS5. As fun as the sequel to the saga of Peter Parker and Miles Morales is, the poor work of adaptation to the new platform prevents a broader recommendation until its most basic problems are resolved and the performance delivered is within expectations for different hardware configurations.

Close to Nintendo's next generation, ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist debuts as one of Switch's best metroidvanias, expanding what could be seen on its predecessor and proving that 2025 isn't exactly lacking in surprises on the hybrid console library. Though not revolutionary, this is an excellent sequel that's worth checking by both those who are coming into the franchise now as well as its long-time fans. Recommended.

Almost at the end of the day between one generation and another, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD arrives to strengthen the release calendar and prove that good games don't age, using an impeccable remastering from a technical point of view, even if not very daring in other aspects.

FREEDOM WARS Remastered doesn't fix all the issues of the original release, like the repetitive combat and spongey enemies, but it's successful in its main mission of presenting one of the late PlayStation Vita's most interesting titles to a new audience.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind accomplishes its main mission of delivering a nostalgic, fun beat'em up that manages to honor the legacy of its inspirations and also the giant franchise it represents. Unfortunately, some technical missteps end up making the experience not one of the best on the Switch, but the promise of more updates tends to soon fix the aspects that are not so polished on its launch.

Divine Dynamo Flamefrit delivers good moments and manages to entertain during its short duration, but the apparent and undeniable lack of ambition undermines the impact of a title that had everything to be one of the best of its genre on the Switch if it had been properly developed and larger. In the end, the April Fool's joke didn't justify the hype, but it could very well bear fruit in the future if it is one day revisited. I personally hope they do [revisit it].

Tetris Forever succeeds in its mission of delivering a compilation worthy of the legacy of one of the most influential franchises in the gaming industry. Even the small flaws, such as the lack of support for Brazilian Portuguese or certain online games and modes, are not enough to overshadow the brilliance of this virtual museum whose curators were evidently careful and attentive.

Wildermyth: Console Edition fails in its mission to properly bring the acclaimed indie RPG to the Nintendo Switch. Fans of tabletop RPGs and customizable narratives will still find fun here but the rest of the public will do better in waiting to see if the absence of support to our idiom and the critical bugs will be fixed in future updates. A shame, but if the journey teaches us anything, it's that even the worst tragedies can lead to a beautiful story in the end. I sincerely hope that's the case [for this game].

Super Mario Party Jamboree exceeds all expectations and delivers a title worthy of being considered the best Mario Party ever made. With over 100 minigames, several online and offline options, and several modes for one or more players, it's hard to find a reason not to join this party that proves that the Switch still has plenty of fuel to burn and plenty of fun to offer, even after being on the market for so long.

Shattered Space hits the mark by delivering a worthy expansion to one of the biggest and better mysteries in Starfield. This dive into the legacy of House Va'ruun brings precise criticism to religious fanatism to deliver excellent moments with some of the most beautiful visuals of this generation, which will please fans of Bethesda's most ambitious RPG to date.

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles dares to replace traditional cards with dice, but it validates this creative decision by delivering a fun and engaging adventure that is perfectly adapted to the Switch. Although its natural complexity makes this game more suitable for those who already have experience with the genre, this is a title that is recommended to all those who are not afraid of challenges and, on the contrary, enjoy using strategy to reverse unfavorable conditions with the tools at their disposal.

God of War Ragnarök lives up to expectations and delivers an even more spectacular sequel to one of the best games of all time. Its long-awaited arrival on PC in yet another great adaptation from PlayStation Studios is above all a reminder that good works are timeless and deserve to be experienced by as many players as possible. Regardless of your platform, then, visit the nine realms and witness the Norse apocalypse alongside Kratos and his son: I guarantee that it will be hard not to consider this one of the best action-adventure titles ever made.

Final Fantasy XVI dares to offer a new direction for Square Enix's legendary franchise, and the result is an unmissable title that gets almost every crucial aspect right. Now in its definitive version on PC, Clive Rosfield's journey gains a new chapter that even the occasional slip-ups in the adaptation work can't compromise. In the end, like a certain Eikon of fire, here is a flame bright enough not to be easily erased from memory.

Frostpunk 2 proves that life in a world filled with ice and divided at its core is difficult, but it becomes possible when you accept that failure is not the end. Combining politics, strategy and simulation, 11 bit studios' latest work stands out and delivers an essential experience for those interested in the genre and, especially, in titles that challenge moral convictions. Bundle up and get up: New London is calling you — it's time to prove once again that tomorrow can be better than expected.

Athena Crisis is clearly a title made by fans, for fans. While its generic presentation may not impress from any angle, its fun campaign, combined with the extensive level creator and the various multiplayer options, have the potential to entertain for months, maybe even years, on end. In the end, this may not be the most beautiful love letter to the turn-based strategy genre, but it's hard to deny its intention — and especially its honesty — when reading it, which will always be a positive thing.

Tactical Breach Wizards surprised me very positively and I feel very confident in recommending it to anyone who enjoys turn-based strategy games that think outside the box. If you are also curious about what it would be like to control super soldiers capable of using magical powers (or dangerously armed wizards, which is the same thing), do yourself a favor and get this work by Suspicious Development. Although I don't have the same clairvoyance as a certain protagonist, I can bet that you won't regret it.

SteamWorld Heist II comes close to being a perfect sequel, in my humble opinion. With so many visible qualities, perhaps its only flaw (if I can call it that) is a brief feeling of repetition when completing many successive missions, but the navigation with the submarine and even the variety of enemies and objectives within each stage help to disguise this weak point. So, whether you are a fan of the SteamWorld series or even an enthusiast of strategy games that prioritize skill over luck, do yourself a favor and play SteamWorld Heist II.
