Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is an RPG with a really engaging story. Based on Chinese legends, it offers a solid experience that proves the series value as an Oriental classic. Despite a few small issues, it's a title that any fan of the genre should have the chance to experience. Hopefully one day it'll be possible to also play the other games in the franchise in English and maybe even Portuguese.

Sable is a game with an artistic intent, it incites thought on the meaning of life through its enchanting journey. Unfortunately, for a game focused on quests, the title should offer information more clearly and in a more accessible fashion. Nonetheless, the experience is overall really rich and interesting, turning it into an easy recommendation for adventure games fans and those looking for artistic experiences. I hope that eventual patches will fix the game's main issues.

Olympia Soirée is a good pick for fans of otome games and visual novels in a broad sense. Inspired by japanese culture and working with social critique, the title presents a really compelling world. Besides that, it seems to indicate Aksys Games has learned from its mistakes in the translation of Café Enchanté, renewing the hope that upcoming titles will also be of high quality.

Featuring a world of cuddly anthropomorphic animals, Kitaria Fables is a game that manages to balance action and simulation elements. It focuses on generating a cycle of combat, gathering materials and obtaining items, creating a pleasant experience. Gamers who enjoy action and farm games will likely enjoy it at their own pace. However, the feeling is that the game could go a little further to make something more memorable.

Despite the performance issues at the end of the game, Arboria is a good action roguelike experience. Any fans of the genre will enjoy the title a lot and probably won't be bothered by its repetitiveness or its other slight flaws.

Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol. 1 is a collection of good strategy games that, for fans of the genre, is worth checking out. Unfortunately, the lack of polish makes the titles not look as good as they should in a re-release, especially the Soul Nomad port, but they are still high quality titles from Nippon Ichi Software's collection.

For those who love action roguelikes and can play online with friends, Zengeon might even be interesting. However, overall the game is too shallow to be worth it. Switch already has several other more interesting examples of the genre.

As a shooting game, Trigger Witch is very nice and an easy recommendation. In particular, the frenetic combat and the use of the environment itself as a way of dealing with the hordes of enemies stand out. If the concept of witches with firearms interests you, it's worth checking out.

Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle is an addicting deck-building card game on its own, but this game delivers an added campaign that makes it an adventure. Exploring the city, completing sidequests, and battling for deck codes and supremacy make each moment of playing fun. If you’re a fan of card games in general and want to try your hand at a new one, it’s a fantastic experience that’ll keep you coming back for more.
Toodee and Topdee is an excellent game that combines two classic genres in a creative and fun way. With stages that offer varied challenges and unique bosses, it's an experience that draws attention and is worth playing.

Eastern Exorcist is a beautiful action game. It is sure to please those who like the genre and want a difficult experience, in which dodging and defensive movements are fundamental. Styled with an inspiration from Chinese mythology, it is well worth checking out.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel is a title that fulfills exactly what it sets out to do. With a well-crafted war story and fun management and turn-based combat systems, the game has a strong charisma and is a great first for CyberConnect2's self-published projects. Despite its quality of life issues, it's highly recommended for anyone interested in RPGs or the company's furry steampunk universe.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a game that manages to tackle the concept of period courts in a tightly-knit narrative that grabs attention. Not just for fans of the series, but also for gamers in general, it's a must-play compilation.

Bustafellows is a great representative of the fascinating stories visual novels can tell. The narrative features a strong lead and a cast of handsome boys with dark pasts that create this endearing tale. Still, it’s a story on society’s shortcomings, which makes it relatable in many ways as we ask ourselves what would cause us to take matters into our own hands. While some design choices seem odd in this release, this otome is an easy recommendation from me.
The Silver Case 2425 brings together two text-focused adventure games that experiment with the possibilities of the format. Unfortunately, The Silver Case is a complicated work and its text could be made clearer so that more people could enjoy it. However, it's still a worthwhile experience for anyone who enjoys narrative games.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a very detailed RPG that manages to take advantage of the fundamental elements of the series to create a captivating experience. Without a doubt, it is one of the best titles available on the market, especially when it comes to games focused on capturing creatures.

Taisho x Alice has a very interesting writing. All the characters stand out for their striking personalities, managing to offer romance, humor and dark elements in the right measure. Epilogue is a very satisfactory conclusion to the saga. Connecting the previous episodes more clearly, the final stretch isn't as shocking as the previous episode, but it is exactly what it needed to be for the conclusion.

Angels with Scaly Wings manages to combine very well a sci-fi narrative and dragon romance. Although some plot elements are less developed than they should be, it is a well-developed and captivating visual novel. Anyone interested in the premise is likely to have a great time.

Out of Line doesn’t break the mold of adventure games but still manages to offer a straightforward puzzle experience through a gorgeous hand-painted world. There’s fun to found during each movement of gameplay, but the lack of challenge and the minimalistic narrative doesn’t make for an engaging time. It’s a low-impact puzzle adventure that could easily be enjoyed for a nice afternoon game session.
World’s End Club tells an interesting story that is consistent with its creators and brings a beautiful story of friendship between a group of children. However, its platform gameplay is too weak, not adequately exploiting the possibilities offered with short and simple stages. Fans of Kodaka and Uchikoshi can have fun and overlook the issues, but both have worked on much better titles before.
