Rune Factory 4 Special is an addictive game that mixes simulation and action RPG elements just right. Although the new version can't fully update the game, keeping it feeling like a 3DS title with a simple filter, it's still a pretty exciting title for its gameplay.

Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX has unfrozen a classic simulator, making some necessary additions to make the title more suitable for modern gamers. Unfortunately, the games still clearly show their age, especially in the visual aspect. Considering its style, the game is worth it to the most dedicated fans of the genre, but other than that, it's hard to recommend it.

Date Night Bowling is a curious combination of bowling and dating sim with an emphasis on minigames. However, it's a really simple game that probably won't keep fans of either genre entertained for long. Despite that, it's an option that can be very fun as a casual experience.

Dairoku: Agents of Sakuratani is an otome game with a concept of representing Japanese myths that will certainly attract people who are fond of this theme. Unfortunately, the narrative makes a blunder in not properly presenting all the elements that are relevant to this rich folklore, leaving those who aren't as knowledgeable about the topic in the dark. Despite that, it's still a good game worth giving a try.

Buried Stars is a high quality representative of mystery visual novels. With solid gameplay systems and an extraordinary art direction, even its text issues aren't enough reason to ignore this work.

Shin Megami Tensei V is an excellent addition to the Atlus RPG series. Despite a few occasional issues, it's a richly detailed experience that's worth playing. Even with so many years of built-in expectations, the result is quite positive and one of the best titles of its kind on Switch.

Saint Kotar is an adventure title that had the potential to be very interesting. Unfortunately, its story is poorly executed, not knowing how to use the horror elements in a convincing way. In addition, the title ends up not being clear at various times in indicating the player's goals. In general, fans of the point-and-click genre may like the game, but it is not a good representative of what this style of play has to offer.

Blue Reflection: Second Light is another good quality RPG from Gust and Koei Tecmo. Exploring the personal journeys of a group of magical girls, the game offers several ways to get to know their perspectives and realities better. With its many well-executed mechanics, except for the occasional stealth moments, the gameplay manages to convey the concept of mahou shoujo and slice of life in a way that should really amuse fans of the genres.

Cupid Parasite is an excellent representative of the otome genre, being, in general, lighter than the other Otomate works already released in the West. Even with some occasional problems, the visual novel has a unique and charming style that helps make a romantic comedy worth trying out.

Hermitage: Strange Case Files offers an interesting supernatural mystery experience. Unfortunately, the narrative has a bad rhythm and translation issues make it harder to understand. Despite that, if the player can ignore those issues, this is a really curious story to enjoy here.

Tunche is a very beautiful roguelike with fluid combat. Its cartoonish look helps to offer a light and charming representation of the culture of Amazon Forest people. Although it quickly tends to repeat itself, it's a title worth trying out.

The Dark Pictures franchise continues to produce high-quality narrative horror pieces. For fans of the genre, they are well worth exploring. The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes shows that the developer is learning from player feedback and that there is still room for improvement with each new game. It is expected that Bandai and Supermassive will continue to invest in polishing the experience and strengthening the series with each new game.

Corpse Party continues to be a good example of the horror genre. With its high graphic and sound quality, compelling story and charismatic characters, the 2D title should not be underestimated. For those who haven't played it yet, it's an excellent pick for the Halloween, but the new additions to the Switch version are small to justify buying it again for those who have already experienced one of its previous releases.

Lyrica 2: Stars Align is an excellent addition to the Switch game library. The charming combination of modern music and eastern tradition still is a remarkable feature. Despite a few translation issues reducing the experience quality, the game is a must-have for rhythm game fans and newcomers alike.

Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi is exactly what you should expect from a dungeon crawler RPG. It's an experience that's the complete package, bringing soft changes to the formula while maintaining itself simple enough to be a good entry point in the genre. Nonetheless, there are other titles that are more interesting in the market and its small issues weaken the product's value overall.

The Good Life is an experience that can be quite frustrating for some players. Representing the life of an ordinary worker in a bizarre setting, the game weighs its hand on elements of management that are sure to displease a fair amount of people. However, for those who manage to go further, taking advantage of all the charisma of the game and its unusual proposal, there is a beautiful experience to be found here.
