Using skates, skateboards or bicycles, the gameplay stands out with simple commands and many possibilities for combos and exploration through an elaborate metropolis. Furthermore, it's hard not to be impressed by the atmosphere that oozes identity with its vibrant colors and eclectic and urban soundtrack.Inspired by Jet Set Radio, the game modernizes concepts, which results in a vibe that is both modern and retro. However, it makes the mistake of replicating even what was not good at that time, such as the simplicity of some aspects. That so, to take full advantage of it, it is important to be willing to overlook some problems.In the end, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is an imperfect but sensational exotic mix.

Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate turns chess upside down with its offbeat idea of putting a gun in the hand of a king. Aiming and shooting adds dynamism to matches, and cards with abilities for both armies create unpredictable situations. Even with skill elements, the title maintains the tactical aspect of chess, with coordinated moves by enemy pieces. Despite being creative, the game has numerous problems, such as a steep learning curve, difficulty spikes and randomness so pronounced as to disrupt the tactical elements. There was also a lack of variety, as the runs quickly get repetitive. At least there are several additional modes and difficulties to explore. Simultaneously creative and problematic, Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate is a compelling experience.

Blasphemous 2 is an intense and haunting pilgrimage through a disturbing universe. The metroidvania sequel offers an adventure filled with brutal confrontations and immersive exploration in a more refined experience. The multiple weapons bring variety to the encounters, the elaborate maps have interesting platforming challenges and the world is inviting with its many secrets. As a continuation, the game dares little and introduces practically no significant novelties. However, practically every aspect has been improved: the challenge is better balanced, there are many customization options, and the atmosphere is richly crafted. Engaging and awe-inspiring, Blasphemous 2 is a spectacular metroidvania not to be missed.

Hyper Meteor is fast and addictive arcade action. Slamming into enemy weaknesses is simple, but the variety of hazards and increasing difficulty make matches frantic and exciting. The focus is on making long combos and achieving high scores, but other modes bring diversity. Invector: Rhythm Galaxy combines rhythm and visual in an excellent musical journey. Controlling the ship according to the beat is enticing, especially due to the constant style changes in the stages. Some elements could have been more polished, like the difficulty curve and the visual chaos, and there are few new features when comparing it to the previous title. Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes Definitive Edition immerses us in its elaborate tactical puzzle combat. The basic mechanics are quite simple, but the nuances, the different units and the RPG elements make the encounters densely strategic and addictive. The extensive campaign with different types of battles and the functional multiplayer mode are able to keep us hooked for many hours, despite some balancing issues. The relaunch received the "definitive" monicker, but it is more like a simple adaptation: there are few new features and some negative aspects of the original, such as the numerous loading screens, remain untouched. Even so, the game still offers quality content and is a great opportunity to meet it on new platforms.

The big highlight is the boss fights, which can appear at any time and constantly move through the stages — it's all very unpredictable and the fun is being able to adapt to these challenges. Countless weapons and creative abilities make the matches very unique and the universe itself is charismatic and humorous. As is usual with the genre, there is a bit of repetition between stages. Also, sometimes there's so much on the screen that it's hard to understand what's going on. However, these details do not compromise the experience, as there is a lot of content to explore and options to customize various aspects of the game. With intense confrontations and dynamic bosses, Voidigo is a must for those who enjoy a good roguelike.

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is a competent collection that brings back three great dungeon crawlers. CONVERGENCE: League of Legends Story stands out with its dynamism and agile pace. Ekko's journey through Zaun envelops us with its elaborate platforming stretches, exploration moments, and frantic combat. Time manipulation mechanics, like being able to rewind a few seconds of action and a slowdown bubble, bring identity to the game and have some interesting uses. Even with qualities, it lacked a bit of boldness: the elements of temporal alteration are explored in a very basic way, leaving the challenges a bit repetitive. Furthermore, the League of Legends universe is lazily adapted, with a predictable plot and underdeveloped characters. To make up for it, the setting is neat with beautiful visuals and great voice acting. In the end, CONVERGENCE is a competent, fast-paced platformer.

Live A Live uses creativity and courage to build an RPG like no other. Instead of a single plot, the game is made up of numerous mini-stories, each with its own ideas and concepts. The variety of themes is one of the highlights, making it difficult not to appreciate at least some of the tales. Furthermore, the battle system is inventive and unique. The retro atmosphere oozes charm with the HD-2D visuals and the excellent soundtrack. The remake of the title released for the SNES in 1994 is technically impeccable, but perhaps too stuck in the past. The stories lack depth, the chapter structure is too basic and the RPG systems could be better worked on. Other than that, combat is unbalanced, sometimes being trivial, sometimes being too difficult. At least the pace is agile, with a modest length compared to other RPGs. Furthermore, Live A Live is worth checking out, mainly for its bold attempt to experiment and try to be different.

The pilgrimage is not free of problems: unpredictability and bad luck take away the player's control, creating unpleasant and annoying situations. In addition, there is a lack of a greater variety of events and situations. Luckily, there's plenty of content to explore in the form of characters, challenges, and campaigns, which eases the sense of repetition. Frustration, anguish and heartache await those who decide to explore the dangers of Darkest Dungeon II. The road is dangerous and exhausting, but it's worth crossing.

Tactical combat is its biggest highlight because of the countless possibilities, combos and synergies provided by the magic cards. Besides that, each dungeon has a different rhythm with its different enemies and traps, which adds variety to the runs. The challenge is high, with constant defeat. This is part of the game cycle, as the intent is to learn from mistakes, make adjustments, and try again. However, some negative points hinder the experience, such as unintuitive terms and interface, little room for errors and an overall somewhat slow pace. In the end, it's worth taking on the creative tactical challenges of Dungeon Drafters. You just need to be willing to dedicate yourself to move forward.
