Marsupilami: Hoobadventure is fun, upbeat, captivating and an excellent title for people looking for a simple experience that doesn't demand hardcore reflexes. However, it wouldn't have been too much trouble to have cutscenes and characters with more personality when it comes to such a rich universe. Performance issues and repetitiveness are some of its issues, but they're minor and rare, not impacting too much the quality of the adventure.

Asteroids: Recharged is a great way to reintroduce a classic to a younger audience. Updating the visuals and sound, along with preserving its base structure, is a very successful recipe for how to make that return. It's a shame that the limited content reduces the lifespan of such a fun game.

Black Widow: Recharged follows the primer of the trio revitalized by Atari, both in terms of quality and defects. Game repetitiveness is unavoidable even playing in pairs, and this is enhanced with the duplicated challenges. However, it is also necessary to point out that it has the best gameplay of the three, thanks to the use of analogue sticks, which makes it stand out from the rest.

Shadow Man Remastered is a curious and interesting work from an important age in games filled with big titles. It was close to being one of them and, as any classic, should be played. However, the way this remaster was done can please only those who already loved it, maybe not even them.

Unlike the other titles in the “series”, Breakout: Recharged is more of a safe choice than an attempt to please nostalgic fans. It can even guarantee itself as a stand-alone title, but for those who want to revisit all the revamped Atari classics, this one might disappoint a little.

9 / 10.0 - Sifu
Feb 8, 2022

Sifu was reportedly made as a love letter to martial arts movies, but it manages to go beyond that label and appeal to a much wider audience. Even with its moments of repetition and a bit aggressive grinding, its precise combat system is fun and creative, in addition to bringing the player a whole feeling of really being in the protagonist's shoes. It's an essential title for anyone who likes to challenge themselves and wants to feel firsthand what an aspiring martial artist has to go through to achieve their biggest goal.

7 / 10.0 - KungFu Kickball
Feb 24, 2022

KungFu Kickball is an undeniably fun and easy-to-play title, but it's really just for group fun. Not even completing Arcade on the various difficulty levels generates a stronger excitement. In the end, this is the kind of title you keep up your sleeve when the crowd gets tired of playing other things.

7 / 10.0 - Beat Souls
Mar 2, 2022

Beat Souls manages to hold the player's attention but only for a little while. Its colorful and dynamic style matches the original music from each opponent well, but it eventually becomes tiresome over time. If it had more variety in its songs and characters, it would definitely be a great show. Right now, it's like a fun garage performance that loses appeal before the end.

The King of Fighters XV does not revolutionize the franchise, but it is very competent in what it proposes to do, bringing its characteristic gameplay in a way that appeals to newcomers and veterans, in addition to having a vast amount of secrets, a competent online mode and a cast At first. If you like fighting games, this is a must-have title for your library.

Music Racer: Ultimate is going to be that game that is sporadically sought out to relax. The possibility of choosing any hit, regardless of rhythm, language or genre, is always good, but other than that, the game doesn't have much of an attraction. The gaudy colors are also a very strong point, as no one likes an explosion of palettes that causes more confusion than admiration.

8.5 / 10.0 - WWE 2K22
Mar 18, 2022

WWE 2K22 manages to be at the same time a redemption to the franchise and a highly recommended entrypoint to anyone who wants to know more about the wrestling universe. The series finally entered the ring ready to take its rightful place on the hearts of fans, deserving a [champion] belt and Pay-Per View match.

Dawn of the Monsters is undeniably fun, even if it is a bit repetitive. The charm of the “Japanese comics” in motion is irresistible, overlapping the gameplay rhythm, which drags on at certain moments. And it's always nice to control a giant and powerful creature to beat up other monsters, creating our own movie in imagination.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is just a port and nothing more, limiting itself to bringing the same source content, with one or another slight addition. That doesn't make the game bad, but at certain moments it feels like it stopped in time, especially the visuals. Still, it manages to offer good fighting mechanics, being attractive to fans of the genre and the series.

9 / 10.0 - Slipstream
Apr 6, 2022

Slipstream used a well-balanced mix of dynamic gameplay and “retro HD” style to create a very competent experience. It's a delight to choose a car and just speed along the tracks, as if we're on a road trip, listening to our favorite cassette tape. If you like a good arcade game, you'll feel right at home with this title.

8.5 / 10.0 - MLB The Show 22
Apr 14, 2022

MLB The Show 22 bets on the “don't change a winning team” motto. That's not a bad thing, as it brings a generous amount of content for online and offline fun, but the co-op glitch can cut off the potential of what had to be one of the most thought-provoking mode. As much as the lack of our language also makes it difficult to understand a series of acronyms, expressions and jargon, it is really worth giving a chance to get to know this sport better.

7 / 10.0 - Agent Intercept
Apr 15, 2022

Agent Intercept could offer much more than it actually delivered without having to go very far. A greater variety of missions and environments would already be able to entertain the player much more. Still, for those who enjoy being behind the wheel of a relentless machine, no matter the size of the task, they will entertain themselves for a few hours in a very honest way.

Ganryu 2: Hakuma Kojiro took the risk of continuing a saga more than two decades after the original, keeping the same standard, both aesthetic and functional, as it could easily be taxed as old or outdated. Fortunately, the game proved to be challenging, well-made and quite satisfying, for those who persist in the mission and don't get discouraged easily.

Even with speedrunners on duty, who are sure to try to solve every puzzle at Formula 1 speed, Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles evokes a slower, more leisurely vibe. This helps to deal with the complexity of some puzzles, but it doesn't solve the problem of repeated challenges, which makes it an OK game, but nothing extraordinary.

10 / 10.0 - Cotton Fantasy
May 20, 2022

Cotton Fantasy is a lesson on how to present a franchise to a new generation while bringing back all the best things it had presented in its various titles. Adding guest characters was also a great idea to create different dynamics that break the repetition a shoot'em up usually has.

Bringing the classic franchise back with the Wonder Boy Collection was always a welcome idea. It shows how games that can be considered old can still please the public a lot and also show the reason they inspired so many titles. However, the experience could have been much richer, and leaving it [this better experience] only to limited players stings.
