Critic Reviews for Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles
Lumote is a fun and great looking game, and the sense of depth and scale of the world is a treat to immerse yourself in for a while.
Explore the depths as you attempt to return the luminous world back to blue.
If you thrive on completing puzzles, you’ll likely get a kick out of working your way through each of Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles’ levels. But be prepared for plenty of repetition in both puzzle design and the environment around you. For most players, it’s likely boredom is going to set in long before you reach the end.
If you’re a fan of puzzle games, deep sea creatures, and 3D platforming, I highly recommend Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles. Just be sure to take breaks while playing so you don’t go blind from all the neon lights— or go crazy from all the blips and bloops that form this game’s aquatic language.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is a challenging and beautiful 3D puzzle platformer but one whose design could frustrate some players out there. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the game and for the most part didn’t struggle too much with solving the puzzles. For others though, I can see how they could get stuck with not really knowing where to go or what to do and that is worth considering before making your purchase.
If you're looking for a puzzle game that will immerse you in its world and distract your mind, don't miss it!

I absolutely loved playing Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles. It may not be for everyone but those who enjoy it will enjoy it a lot.
What I’ve come to realize it that Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is something special… in shorts bursts. It’s the perfect game to pick up and play a few levels of before setting it down to go about your business. Brief play sessions will keep you engaged, whereas long blocks will start to wear on you.
