The word that defines Papetura for me is experience. The images are stunning, the story unfolds in an extremely inviting way, and knowing that so much of it is handcrafted from paper just made my jaw drop. Looking forward to the next work of art by Tomasz Ostafin and his studio Petums.

PetitFabrik's Amazonian creators did a good job with Kukoos: Lost Pets, delivering beautiful and pleasant visuals, charismatic characters and varied gameplay mechanics in an attractive 3D world. Even with small issues, it's a beautiful addition to the studio's portfolio, and it's worth checking this Brazilian title out.

Cassiodora is not a great dish. If it doesn't stand out for its originality or for the accurate revision in subtitles and gameplay, the title brings together several well-known elements in mythology and in the shmup genre, and makes a good and fun bread and butter, which entertains a lot throughout its duration and still seeks to extend this meal with a good replay factor. It is worth a visit to the Brazilian restaurant at Void Studios.

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is not a simple collection, which takes advantage of a commemorative brand to earn a few bucks with old and reheated titles. What we have here is an exhibition that is nothing short of a real museum: we have classic works, testimonials from the creators, curiosities and openings for new interpretations. This is the model of how every celebratory work should be.

Smurfs Kart is a simple game and doesn't try to be more than that. This is by no means a bad thing. The title knows what it wants to present and delivers casual, family fun using all the charisma and sympathy of the characters. Just like Clumsy Smurf, it slips up a little, making it unable to reach the highest places of the podium, but it's fun enough to be worth a few laps.

The gameplay and elements that made the 1986 title overthrow Breakout's popularity in the block breaker genre were revamped and updated here. Arkanoid Eternal Battle brings the classic franchise to the 21st century, keeping it fun, enticing, challenging and adding welcome novelties to its visuals and game modes such as Versus and battle royale, which is [a] very popular [trend] in recent years. All of this in Brazilian Portuguese, with crossplay with various platforms. For all those reasons, Arkanoid continues to be the king of the genre.

Despite the problems, Atari Mania is an extremely fun experience. The integration of the gallery with the story mode, which goes straight to the point, the quality and variety of the microgames, the extra content available and the celebration atmosphere make this an excellent and modern retro title, indispensable for those who like the style and for the company fans.

Spidersaurs do not reinvent the wheel and do not aim to do so. Like a good B movie, the game builds on everything that has been made in the run and gun genre and seeks to reuse key elements using a very good sense of humor. It's like a more accessible Contra made for the current times, quite pleasant to spend an afternoon.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is an excellent beat 'em up, which goes straight to the point, focusing on combat and delivering precise gameplay. All this, combined with the charisma of the characters and the good humor present in each pixel, makes this title a gem. For a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan, it becomes even more special with the dedication and presence of so many references to previous games.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed presents an original story truly interesting and worthy for the series, taking place between Episode 3 and Episode 4. Visiting known places such as Kashyyyk, the home planet of the Wookiees, or Felucia, overgrown by vegetation, continues to be a good thing even after 14 years. With a competent port, even without huge improvements, playing this game on Switch only shows how the original release was already great in 2008 and continues to be a must-play to this day despite showing its age.

Aztech: Forgotten Gods had an interesting premise and promised to embark on a story that would stray from what we usually see. However, the plot is quite common and could be located in any people or place in Western culture. The battles against the gods, sold by marketing as the main course, are actually very punctual and poorly executed due to camera and movement problems. The various technical flaws are worthy of a title from the beginning of the 3D era, but difficult to overlook in the current moment of game development.

The protagonist, Fuma, is a skilled warrior with very plastic movements. With all this fascinating ambience of the ancient Japan, not only thanks to the visual but also the soundtrack, seeing all the plasticity of a good hit with a sword is an important part of the game for immersion. To help visualization, movement is slow. However, this is still an action game, and having the gameplay suffer with slow movements isn't exactly ideal. This example sums what GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon is: an action game with beautiful visuals. However, its visual refinement sometimes goes beyond what can be functional. It's a title that tries to incorporate features from successful modern roguelikes. However, what inspired it didn't serve to give it prominence and personality sometimes. It's a game with potential to be extraordinary but loses itself in the mundane.

Tinker Racers is the result of the excellent work of three people. With a simple, direct and full of nostalgia, the brazilians from the Rumbora studio entertain and maintain the challenge by offering great controls. The creative and well-built scenarios amuse from the start, but the repetition makes the smiles go. Still, the game never becomes boring, leaving the desire for a more complete sequence.
