No Rest for the Wicked is a very promising title with difficult but fun gameplay. The world level design and style make it a unique and fascinating game. However, it still presents too much technical wizardry that makes it difficult to play. However, I am hopeful that early access will greatly help the title solve all its problems and then release on consoles in a big way. I will return to the review very gladly when the game is released, confident that I can raise the rating a lot. If Moon Studios continues to work this way then No Rest for the Wicked could indeed be remembered by many as one of the most important games of the next few years.

8.5 / 10.0 - Helldivers II
Feb 20, 2024

Helldivers 2 is a beautifully crafted Live Service that marks the starting point for a potentially limitless title. The title turns out to be fun and well crafted. The only detail that turned my nose up at it is its near unplayability in solo play. I understand that the game is meant to be a cooperative title however giving a few more possibilities to single players I personally would have appreciated it. Who knows, however, that future updates may not completely innovate the modes thus adding more single player usability as well.

7 / 10.0 - HELLCARD
Feb 9, 2024

HELLCARD is a very interesting deck building title. I must honestly say that I did not have high expectations for the title and instead was incredibly surprised. The title is fun and relatively easy to learn. If we then add the total Italian localization and the ease of running the game we have a combo for an excellent pastime. Definitely more than recommended for fans, but also for newbies to the genre like me.

Modern Warfare III fits within the series' long list. It offers near-perfect gameplay, practically the pinnacle of the series. It stumbles, however, on almost everything else. The too-short storyline, the lack of concrete new features among the maps and ideas for new modes combined with a few too many technical wrinkles make this title a half-hearted misstep. It comes close to sufficiency thanks to its gameplay, but it is not enough to justify an outlay of 80 euros for a game that doesn't even have a name that is new.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 looks like a true next-gen experience, taking full advantage of the PlayStation 5 hardware. A more mature and epic storyline than in the past, spectacular boss fights, and some minor gameplay improvements return a superlative experience to the user. Despite some technical glitches, Spider-man 2 establishes itself as one of the best superhero titles ever, and a candidate for GOTY 2023.

Assassin's Creed Mirage turns out to be a very welcome return to its roots. It suffers, however, from more than obvious technical problems. It is not so much a matter of bugs, since in this respect the title also performs well, but an overall care that is really too sloppy. For example, the good weapon feedback that Valhalla presented is completely gone in Mirage. The animations are then worse than in a great many other titles from Ubisoft itself. If we then add a cute storyline but nothing more the result is a barely decent title. We therefore recommend giving the title a try to die-hard fans of the saga; however, we cannot say that we were completely satisfied with Basim's adventures.

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is definitely a good indie title that tries to approach the industry's triple-As, but fails to hold its own in many respects. The game has great insights such as the Frost Grip or the level design, it falls down, however, on character movement and shooting. We largely recommend the title to those who liked the previous installment Daymare: 1998. On the other hand, we feel like recommending the title to fans of the survival horror genre only through the help of discounts.

3 / 10.0 - Atlas Fallen
Sep 5, 2023

Atlas Fallen is a title that copies mechanics and ideas from other titles but does not shine in anything. The gameplay is particularly dull and unsatisfying, the plot uninvolving and lacking in basic mechanics for a 2023 title. Had it come out in 2010 as the developers' debut title it would have been nice as a cheap alternative to darksiders 1 (a title from which Atlas Fallen seems to borrow a lot) but in 2023 from developers who have good experience in this area anyway we expected significantly more.

5 / 10.0 - Ravenlok
May 26, 2023

In short Ravenlok could have been an interesting product thanks to its graphical style, it completely patches however in some too important details for an action game such as combat, difficulty and duration. Therefore, we do not recommend buying the title at full price, however, it may be interesting to try it out thanks to Xbox Game Pass or buy it with some steep discounts

8.5 / 10.0 - Atomic Heart
Mar 14, 2023

Atomic Heart is a great title, with an interesting storyline, fun gameplay and spectacular atmosphere. Small sore points the difficulty in our opinion too high and the open world practically intuitive, flaws that however do not spoil the title that still remains of a great level. If we then add the presence at day one on game pass and the optimization on PC we can only recommend it.

This War of Mine is an intensely exciting and immersive game that offers a unique and immersive experience. With its graphical style and incredible soundtrack, it manages to make players feel as if they are actually experiencing a war. We decided to include in both the PROs and cons its great emotionality and brutality because it could prove to be an incredible journey for many players but at the same time it could be difficult to play for much more sensitive people.

7.5 / 10.0 - High on Life
Dec 24, 2022

High On Life is an FPS that does not shine in terms of gameplay or technical compartment but has on its side a very strong component of comedy and madness that winks a lot at Rick and Morty, just to fans of the series we strongly recommend trying the title, perhaps taking advantage of the opportunity to try it through Game Pass. Should you not be interested in the comedy component, however, we do not fully recommend the title given its major shortcomings in gameplay and technical compartment.

Warzone 2.0 is not the battle royale revolution, but probably no one expected it to be. It is the right evolution of the mass phenomenon that was the first chapter, innovating some mechanics but not radically changing the game. We particularly liked the change to loadouts making matches more competitive by limiting the various player perks. It slightly increases the difficulty in matches however decreases too much in the gulag allowing potentially all 4 players to save themselves. On the other hand, we find all the other changes, including the map, very interesting, not deviating too much from the good foundations of Warzone in 2019. It will therefore remain to be seen whether it will be able to have the gigantic impact of its predecessor or whether the audience is now saturated with Warzone as well, although in our opinion it has the potential to remain in the hearts of old and new users alike.

7.5 / 10.0 - F1 22
Jul 14, 2022

F1 2022 does not represent the game that upends the saga but reconfirms almost all the strengths that made the fortunes of the previous chapters while also adding a few new features. Inexplicable instead is the removal of Breaking Point and the addition of the almost useless F1 Life. We do, however, find support for 120 fps and the use of DualSense's adaptive triggers truly incredible. We therefore consider F1 2022 a must-have for first-minute fans.

7 / 10.0 - Ghostwire: Tokyo
Mar 29, 2022

The last work of Tango Gameworks presented itself with very great wishes, but not having completely respected the expectations. Overall we find ourselves in front of a good game, with some really exciting phases, but just as many slow and boring. However, it cannot be defined as a failure, giving us one of the most inspired art designs in the videogame landscape and a fun gameplay all in all.
