This game is as every bit of fun as it looks. Each mission gives you as much time as you need to drive vehicles into walls or just drive a front-end loader straight through a house. The first mission makes you take down a house for a land development company and I didn’t swing the hammer once, instead, I was straight in with the front-end loader, but after a few runs, I lost the bucket and started taking damage. Costly, but in the end, it was all worth it.
The game runs just as well on the PC as it does on the mobile, and the ease of putting down the mobile and jumping straight back where I left off on the PC was a massive thumbs up from me. The game felt like I was playing any other Diablo game, which we have had to pay for in the past.
F1 22 is for all the die-hard fans of F1. You will be surprised if you played previous titles with how well the cars handle now and how much quicker you can get around the track. The supercars being added into the game does spice things up a little by being able to drive something else apart from the F1 or F2 cars.
Anyone chasing that game of TAG with a twist, Bail or Jail is for you. It’s a fun and quick game where there are countless areas of opportunity within the character’s abilities, and you can get pretty tricky using the natural cover offered by the buildings. It has that spooky vibe to the game but is not enough to scare anyone into submission.
For anyone new to the series or returning, Madden NFL 23 is based around the NFL (National Football League) where you might hear some of the bigger names in news like Tom Brady, Guy Whimper, and many more. Like the titles before it, anyone that is a sports game fanatic would be straight into this game with being able to pick your plays, both offensive & defensive, which decide the end factor of the game.
Graphically this game is stunning, the environment you’ll spend your time hunting in has been done with such high detail and makes it feel like you are there in that moment. Though, the details in the animal’s fur could have been fine-tuned a little to make them look a little more real. I was having issues with the rendering distance where the grass was just randomly appearing or the trees got their high detail when I got closer which took away from the experience a little.
Listening to the old sound of Pac-Man tied in with the beautiful soundtrack on this game kept you wanting more. It was that happy music that made you want to keep playing, yet the tone would change if you encountered enemies along the way. I love turning big and hearing the old Pac-Man music and sound effects we used to hear on the arcade classic. Anyone that grew up playing Pac-Man, or even younger generations getting into Pac-Man, will find that the Re-Pac is an awesome gateway. It’s full of subtle easter eggs from the original games and features some beautifully recrafted scenery. Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a title for everyone.
I feel like this title would be best suited to controllers and not PC as there is too much going on in the game whilst you are fighting off the hordes of random fighters from the other Dojo trying to mess you up. If you don’t like how the game has its controller scheme set up, you do have the option to change things to how you like them. The tutorial in the first scene teaches you all the basics and makes you do them several times so you get used to the combat and movement system.
Depending on if you are new to gaming and want to test the waters with some old-school games, or you’re like me and used to play the Atari consoles back in the day, this title is for you. Revisiting memories from when things were simpler offers endless hours of fun, and this collection is a great way to honour how it all began.
Sure, it’s fun to see some new characters get behind the wheel, and it’s great if you want a change from the usual “Ya-Hooo! I doubt many people would have considered the Smurfs for this kind of thing, but Smurfs Kart doesn’t bring anything new that will set it apart from existing Nintendo Karting games. It’s great to see them stick with the Smurfs art style, but the sound effects are rather lacking, particularly when it comes to the karts.
The developers did a fantastic job with this reimagination of ‘Alone in the Dark’. It was the perfect mixture of puzzles, mystery and a great storyline to keep you enthralled in the title for hours. If you love a great eerie story where you need to think outside of the box then this is a perfect skin-crawling experience for you.
Princess Peach: Showtime! is a perfect game to sit down, relax, and get immersed in. It’s not super hard, and certainly not something you need to think about. You can just sit down and revisit characters you have grown to love, as well as meet new ones
You can unlock things like clothing, equipment, pre-match animations, and even some experience boosts for MyPlayer. Those who decide to purchase the Premium Centre Court Pass will have a few extra cosmetic items they can purchase, while those who buy the All Access Pass will unlock six of the Premium Seasons as well as even more cosmetic goodies.
There was a huge accident at the PJ Power HQ and it has scattered pieces of technology like mechanical cogs and reactors all over the world. It’s the PJ Masks’ job to go and retrieve all the items back to fix up the HQ, but little do they know there will be some speed bumps along the way with some familiar faces.
It smashes the AI as well which is a great feature so players and AI are equal to how they are penalized. The only downfall I will have with the system is the constant flashing of the UI on the right-hand side of the screen for penalties. There are a couple of different things that you will see with the main one being “Warning”, which is just a warning which is self-explanatory.
Do you think you have what it takes to be a professional House Flipper? Empyrean and Frozen District have made that dream a reality with House Flipper 2. It’s the sequel to the smash hit “House Flipper” which took the gaming world by storm.
You have people coming in and out all day to answer questions or give you ideas, whilst also needing to check social media and if you are so inclined, you can start wars with other countries. I found the game gets a little repetitive super quickly, and not to mention sitting there talking to people every minute got old super quick.
The developers did not hold back with this title and they went all in and created an absolute F1 masterpiece, from how the cars handle, down to how the drivers celebrate, you will get immersed into the racing life and it’s not one I’m upset about being immersed into.
I’ll never not love jumping into the great world of Mario and the adventures he finds himself on, and having played the original once before I loved being able to jump back into the adventure and play it and remember. I will be sinking more hours into this title as it’s super relaxing and you can play it from the comfort of the couch, or even in bed before you head to sleep.
If you are chasing a title that has the perfect mixture of gameplay that submerges you into the life of a pathologist and spine-chilling moments that will keep you on your toes from start to finish then Autospy Simulator will be the perfect game for you to cut some time into.
