The standout feature of The 7th Guest VR is its ability to breathe new life into a classic. While remaining faithful to the original, the adaptation leverages VR technology to create a nostalgic and fresh experience. The puzzles, the storytelling, and the atmosphere are all heightened in VR, providing players with a truly memorable and captivating journey. But even if you've never played the game.. If you like horror or adventure games, you will find lots to enjoy here. With its hauntingly beautiful visuals, atmospheric audio, and seamless gameplay, The 7th Guest VR stands as a testament to the potential of bringing classic games into the VR era. Paradise Hotel offers a truly terrifying VR survival horror game. The use of long dark corridors, scary tense music, and tasteful jumpscares will have you on edge as you try and escape the hotel. There are some hunt-down keys puzzles to solve and lots of collecting items that all feels fun with initiative VR controls. Although the game is a bit short, you will fully enjoy your time checking out this hotel and seeing if you can escape the zombies.
Down the Rabit Hole checks all the right magical boxes of what you are looking for from a VR adventure game. There is a unique control system, an interesting story, beautiful graphics, and truly immersive VR gameplay. The experience ends too quickly but it still is a worthwhile experience for those looking to add a beautiful and fun game to their VR collection.
Being the Mortuary Assistant really is a scary experience.
Yup. This is still one of the best RPG games ever made. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition Next Gen Update offers a lengthy story with high-quality voice acting and stunning graphics. For players who are familiar with the Netflix adaptation, there are additional story elements to discover and exclusive armor sets that are inspired by the show. There are new ways to filter the map, new quick sign options, and many more quality-of-life updates. These added features enhance the overall gaming experience. It's a nice touch. The base game, as well as the expansion packs "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine," offer hours upon hours of content that will keep players engaged for a long time.
Shores of Loci offers a beautiful, calming, and enjoyable puzzle experience in VR. The developers did a great job of creating not just a puzzle game, but an entirely relaxing VR experience.
VR allows you to break the mold on what is possible in a video game, and Iron Man VR is a great example of this. Putting on the Iron Man suit, using your palms to fly around, shoot things and actually BE Iron Man is really an amazing experience.
This is hands down one of the best Oculus Quest 2 games you can buy. The replayability is never-ending with constant developer updates and ongoing levels. The entire game is made with VR in mind from how you move around, to how you access the menus, to the haptic feedback of your bowstring.
Happy Humble Burger Farm is GREAT! What starts off as a spooky cooking simulator, turns into one of the more interesting horror adventure games I've ever played. There is just so much backstory, collectibles, and characters. Although there is a mixing of genres, it somehow all works and is a fully enjoyable experience. Grab the game and get lost in the spooky mystery!
Espire 2 offers a really immersive VR stealth game. It is really fun to have to pull a tool from your arm to disarm a wired alarm at just the right angle or walk up to a computer terminal and have to physically move your hands up and down on the keyboard like you are typing. So much more immersive than walking up and pressing B. I can't stress enough how great these little touches are for making a great VR experience.
Among Us VR is true to the original party game, with some fun VR upgrades. Running around the ship and completing tasks in first-person view while you peek over your shoulder brings a fresh experience to this classic game. Everything just worked the way I expected it to, from the tasks to movement and voting. After playing a few rounds in VR, I found the previous desktop experience was extremely lacking and limited. Among Us is really a game that is perfectly designed to be played in a VR environment. Totally worth it!
Affected: The Manor is a VR Horror Experience. No complicated controls, hunting for items, or solving puzzles might be boring for some, but makes for an enjoyable spooky experience for those new to VR or horror games. As long as you understand this is an experience and not a game, more seasoned gamers will find enjoyment here too.
Endless hours fly by while I try and appease the Queen with beavers and lizards. Each map offers unique challenges that are brought about by my own selection - A choose your own adventure city builder of sorts. I can't stress how fun that is.
This is one of the better experiences I've reviewed on Quest 2. Everything is designed with VR in mind and controls are simple and straightforward, allowing you to focus on hanging out with friends or playing the game. The various lane locations are quite detailed and fun themed. Inviting Quest friends is easy and straightforward. The ability to pass the headset and do local play is also welcome.
Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed really places you in the Ghostbuster world. The entire firehouse is accessible and voice actors from the movie are here that will delight fans for sure. There are lots of Easter Eggs. There are lots of games fighting for your attention these days, Ghostbuster Spirits Unleashed will be fun for Ghostbusters fans, but the game needs some updates and additional content or modes to keep people playing after the fan fun wears off.
Lucy Dreaming is a British mystery Whodunit mixed with a lot of humor and also some pretty dark elements. Lucy is an extremely loveable main character who is witty, sharp, and full of one-liners that will keep you smiling. If you enjoy old-school point-and-click adventures full of wit, mystery and mayhem then check out Lucy Dreaming.
The Fridge Is Red offers a unique take on survival horror games. With 6 different episodes to work through, there are plenty of puzzles that will confuse and frustrate you, scary and gross visuals, and a soundtrack that will creep you right out. This style and type of game will NOT be for everyone. The puzzles can sometimes be very confusing or obscure. Some others may be frustrated by the retro graphic feel, but it definitely makes you feel like you are playing an old-school Playstation horror game.
ustin Wack and the Big Time Hack takes you back to old-school point-and-click adventure games. The story is really silly, over the top, funny and ridiculous at times, but it all really works! The characters (especially Kloot) have really likable personalities and you want to help them out in their troubles.
Whateverland is a wonderful and quirky adventure game that is full of some amazing voice acting, music, and animation. There are tons of funny and enjoyable lines throughout. There are a few spelling mistakes and the game could use a few more save slots, but these are really minor. It really brings you back to old-school adventure games that made this genre so great.
Nine Noir Lives is the cat-themed adventure game you didn't know you needed. Lick everything, solve a murder, and interact with Cat Crime Bosses, Giant Mice, and Giant Pickles. You are thrust into a cat world like no other.
