Fallen Legion: Revenants Reviews
Between memorable characters, dialogue options that will make you seriously think, and intricate battle systems, Fallen Legion Revenants is a great start of the year for fans of JRPGs and single player experiences in general.
A bit messy and not deep enough, Revenants feels like a missed chance for Fallen Legion, but the plot and its characters are intriguing.

Fallen Legion Revenants is full of fun, engaging combat, an interesting premise, and entertaining dialogue. However, the poor pacing between combat and narrative creates a disconnect that makes the experience monotonous at several points. This is by no means an irredeemable title. However, it is definitely preferable for players who do not seek to experience a continually engaging narrative and just desire enjoyable strategic combat.
Enjoyment of Fallen Legion largely comes down to whether fighting battle after battle continues to feel fresh and if the prospect of panic inducing boss fights elevates your heart rate in a good way. The story is interesting and learning the fate of both Rowena and Lucien provides a degree of motivation to continue but certainly isn’t enough if combat becomes to feel like a slog.
