Critic Reviews for GraviFire
Gravifire is an enjoyable gravity-based puzzle game. We have seen this type of puzzle mechanic of moving blocks before in other puzzle games. However, adding gravity into the puzzles gives Gravifire an extra twist. For fans of the puzzle genre, you will find an interesting and easy to control game in Gravifire for a few hours of quality playtime.
It was fun, but I wanted more! It draws you in with its simple approach, but this plateaus quickly. Luckily, it does enough to keep you interested throughout the 50 stages. Do I recommend it? I do, as it can be enjoyed casually. So buy a copy here! Can you master gravity and shift the boxes? Keep an eye out for lasers and finish each of the 50 levels.
Gravifire surprised me with how addictive it was. I have reviewed game after game of sokoban inspired titles, and most of them don’t really do much to engage after a couple of levels. But Gravifire’s pick up and play levels and fun gravity mechanics really grabbed me, and the solid controls led to this being a super fun romp to play through!
Of all the typical puzzle game variations I think the one I get bored by the most quickly tends to be the box pusher, partially due to its simplicity but then also because it has been so thoroughly done that it's unusual to find anything creative or really different offered with it...
