Swarm Reviews
SWARM performs some technological voodoo, allowing players to swoop, twist, and turn through its levels with no trace of VR sickness. An arcade game to its core, SWARM knows exactly what it is, and delivers on that experience with gusto, with smooth action and impressive visuals. An amazing amount of fun can be gained from swinging through the air and shooting evil robots. Highly recommended.
SWARM is a really difficult, yet immensely rewarding VR game. It's designed to stress you out both physically and mentally, but once you break that barrier and keep your rhythm going, nothing can stop you. The art style is pleasant, it lacks visual issues that plague many other Oculus Quest titles, and it's just overall incredibly fun to play for hours on end.
Swarm is an arcade-style shooter by Greensky Games with face-paced action and a quirky storyline. Between the colorful enemies, bright environments, and high-energy music, it is a blast to play. Does it have enough replay value to keep the fun going long-term? Check it out in our review.
Swarm is something of a one-trick pony, but that pony is quite a noble steed. What it sometimes lacks in variety, it makes up with satisfying movement and truly addictive combat gameplay. It kept me coming back to try to clear a level just one more time, and it's a great showcase title for less-experienced players to demonstrate the capabilities of untethered VR using the Quest 2. If you're itching for a good arcade shooter in VR or to finally live out your Spider-Man fantasies, Swarm is worth a look.
