‎As a game, ‎‎Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game‎‎ is a very, very simple beat'em up that doesn't do something interesting with the genre, practically has no history, has a somewhat charismatic visual style, but with problems, and offers us a forgettable sound section. As a promotional material, it does its job, I'd be lying if I didn't say that this installment has excited me a little bit to see the film. ‎

Fans of the original Space Jam had a terrible game to tie in with the movie, and Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game is a much better experience by comparison. It feels as if the concept could have easily been expanded, as there plenty of scope for more characters and stages, but Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game is an ok game, for what little runtime it has.

Space Jam: A New Legacy is a super fun arcade-style beat 'em up starring your favourite Looney Tunes characters and LeBron James teaming up to take down Al G. Rhythm. Highly recommended if you enjoy local multiplayer games, but it is pretty short so don't expect something that will last a long time.

If Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game was given a lot more time in the oven, it could have been a pretty good beat 'em up. As it is, it feels like an alpha demo that still has a long way to go before it's ready for the general gaming public.

I don’t think anyone was expecting for Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game to be amazing. Let’s face it, it’s a marketing ploy. It’s here to raise awareness for the brand new movie by giving you a few minutes of fun and some easy achievements. With that being said, I expected a lot worse from it. It’s decent for what it is. I still think that there is no reason for a beat ’em up based on Space Jam to exist, but all in all, there are worse ways to spend half an hour of your time.

Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game is free, but it still does very little to justify players spending any time with it at all…For fans of beat-em-ups, there are plenty of better options available that are not much more expensive, especially if players have Xbox Game Pass already. For Space Jam fans, there is so little of the characters or personality of the movie in the game that it does not seem as though it would justify the time investment.

Space Jam A New Legacy The Game doesn't really tie in with the movie. Instead of focussing on basketball, it lets you fight AL-G Rythm's goons in a brawler and a very flat and short one at that. The game can be finished in thirty minutes and even faster if you play with three players. It looks good, but the gameplay is simple. If your kids can't wait to see the movie the game is a good warmup, but nothing more than that.

Everything about Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game feels as cheap as its price. What’s here isn’t really bad, but it isn’t good either, and it’s over before you know it. If you’re desperate for something to play and need to kill a half-hour, you can do worse. Free is definitely a competitive enough price. Otherwise, if there’s anything in your library or on Game Pass for subscribers that you’ve been meaning to get to, you’ll do a lot better to spend your time playing that.
