Indigo 7: Quest for Love's puzzle formula is engaging and manages to be a mix of easy to learn, but tricky to master.

Indigo 7 Quest for Love is ok. The story is fun and charming and the puzzle mechanics work well in solo mode. Throw in a CPU and there's suddenly an unbalanced difficulty level that's just too frustrating. The addition of local multiplayer could still entice some players.

I applaud Indigo 7: Quest For Love for trying something different. It’s a fun enough puzzle game that fans of Tetris and Puyo will be interested in, and its presentation is charming and eye-catching. Sadly it’s let down by a poorly thought-out scoring system, which is likely to bring any enjoyment of the game to a premature halt.

Indigo 7 Quest for Love is a game that takes up a well-known style in the mobile sector by proposing the joining of hexagons in the best Tetris Puyo Puyo style through a fun plot and stereotyped characters. The well-known formula of joining colors and shapes to perform scoring combos is a slightly worn proposal that doesn't shine on a console and delivers a fun experience at first, but not impactful on the game as a whole.

Indigo 7: Quest for Love has simple gameplay and a satisfying visual presentation, but that's all the positives this puzzle has to offer. The lack of an options menu, long matches based on trial and error and a weak story are some of the problems. It even entertains at first, but soon falls into tedious repetitiveness and, consequently, into oblivion.

Indigo 7: Quest for Love is an earnest, enjoyable attempt at a new puzzle game. It’s fun, it’s quirky, the art style is endearing, and the gameplay is solid. Honestly, I’d be giving this game a higher score if it didn’t have some bugs and issues that pop up here and there. Those problems aside, though, if you’re looking for a great multiplayer puzzle game that isn’t Tetris or Puyo Puyo, give this game a shot.
