‎Taiko No Tatsujin: The Drum Master is undoubtedly a game, at least as far as the rhythmic genre is concerned, which although it has some negative points, at the end of the day they are not so big as to gain greater importance. ‎

The hit drumming series' arrival on Xbox and PC is with several caveats, as without the famous Taiko drum controller, it's thoroughly restricted. Thanks to a fantastic tracklist, however, the numbed sensation manages to provide infectious gameplay.

Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master! Hits all the right notes in its jump to the PC. With a healthy amount of songs and a system that’s every bit as challenging as you want it to be, Don-chan and Ka-chan’s rhythm game is the place to be.

Taiko no Tatsujin is an excellent rhythm game. The game’s song selection might not be varied enough, but they play great and are fun to master. It is a charming experience for even the most casual player pulled in by a song from their favourite anime or game, and great yet slightly disappointing to the Taiko drum-owning returnee on Xbox looking to smash their drum to the rhythm of the beat.

One of the few games released on the Xbox One where it’s suitable for the entire family. The best thing about it is that anyone can get into the groove pretty quickly once you get used to the beats. Compatible for online play, it’s a great addition to the Xbox library especially for those who were waiting for a decent rhythm game. All of the customizations and additional music can be obtained from currency earned only from gameplay, which provides challenge and stays true to what a video game’s definition of replay values.
