Critic Reviews for Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Biosyn Expansion
Dominion Biosyn Expansion is not perfect. It adds some new quality of life features such as hyperloop while taking away some well-placed challenges like the guests. The campaign length and new dinosaurs also make it a worthwhile experience for those who enjoy being around 60 million years old dragons; especially if you are a paleontologist turned video game critic like me!
While there’s nothing truly ground-breaking introduced in the Dominion Biosyn Expansion, it’s certainly worth picking up if you love Jurassic World Evolution 2. Some may find that the new campaign guides them a little too much, but the new dinosaurs and features hold your attention throughout. And the new dinosaur-wrangling system in the Chaos Theory scenario makes it stand out, too. But let’s face it, most people are buying this for the dinosaurs, and while there aren’t that many of them, they’re wonderfully recreated and rather unique.
Developers tried to bring something new in the expansion, but it is not big news, but rather such smaller ideas and a modest expansion of the range of dinosaurs and structures. So we recommend fans of the game to wait for the discount and then buy it.

The Dominion Biosyn expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 2 adds a wealth of new content to the game. While the story may be poor, with poor dialogue. The wealth of content surrounding it adds too much to the game, from amazing visuals, great new dinosaurs as well as some new mechanics to keep the game fresh and beyond this, the chaos theory mode serves as a nice escape from the slow-paced base game and throws you into a more chaotic mix.
Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Biosyn has some great new features like interconnected buildings and ferocious dinosaur species. Its tie-in to the Jurassic World Dominion film is rather flimsy and sometimes takes away from the immersion.
My final thought is that after waiting for quite some time. Fans (myself included) have finally got the expansion that we had hoped for. There is so much to do and new things to get used to that you’ll never get bored. Plus there’s more dialogue from the ever-so-brilliant Dr Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). So with that in mind, I am going to give the Jurassic World Evolution 2 – Dominion Biocyn Expansion the Thumb Culture Gold Award.
