Murtop Reviews
Murtop is an '80s arcade throwback that will challenge your reactions and sense of timing in a whimsical (bordering on endearingly silly) world. It is sometimes frustrating working through a level to get things just right, but that's the nature of the game. It's a good dose of idle time fun for almost all ages.
Colorful arcade-style experience that will bring you back to the 1980s
As a retro gamer with an affinity for all things Dig Dug and Bomberman, I had a fun time with Murtop and look forward to beating my high score again and again until I can be the best bomb-pooping bunny in all the land. đź’Ł
A beautiful mash of Bomberman and Dig Dug was presented in a 1980s arcade presentation.
While it does pretty successfully bolt together gameplay elements of Dig-Dug and Bomberman, the end experience comes up a bit short
Overall, I liked Murtop for the small price of entry. It provides solid hopping arcade fun, doing a top job recreating the look and feel of games from that era. If you’re looking for a simple gaming hit to satisfy those retro urges, then you should be satisfied by what’s on offer. But some players might expect a little more from the experience, such as more variety in gameplay. Murtop is very much an arcade title that feels like it is from the 80s and hasn’t evolved from that era. If you’re happy with that, then it’s well worth its small asking price.
