Fate/Samurai Remnant Reviews
Fate/Samurai Remnant is a welcome addition to the Fate franchise with interesting characters and a story filled with mystery and branching decisions. The combat is fast paced, fun, and balanced, with a good mix of both easy and challenging fights for players to tackle. The game has high replayability, as you’ll want to play through the game more than once to get the full scope of the story. I had a lot of fun playing through the game, and I’m certainly going to come back for more. I can easily recommend this to both fans of the Fate franchise and newcomers to the series. The story will suck you in, the graphics are beautiful to look at, the music will have you looking up the track names, and you’ll have a ton of fun slicing through foes.
Fate/Samurai Remnant offers a balancing act of anime-style samurai epics paired with more focused combat in the style of the Warriors games. You can expect beautiful and numerous areas that also include equally barren arela, has a more tactical approach to the fights that doesn't last until the end, and gets a bit too lost in its repetition, although there are always new mechanics and enemy designs. A blade with samurais on one side and Musou on the other, though, where fans of either should definitely take a look. It definitely could have used more anime epicness though, as the opening suggests.

I think the best thing I can say about Fate/Samurai Remnant is that, against all odds, I’m really quite fond of it. The characters and world it presents have drawn me in, and the breezy manner in which it plays and lets its story move keeps me engaged.
Fate Samurai/Remnant is an excellent new take on the almost two-decade-old series. New and old fans alike have an excellent story in front of them, with dozens of hours of exciting combat through the many playable characters. This is an easy recommendation for any RPG fan in a year crowded with exceptional games.
Fate/Samurai Remnant combines the masterful storytelling of the Fate universe with Koei Tecmo's expertise in creating excellent hack-and-slash games. It's certainly worth picking up, as long as you're up for the rather challenging action RPG gameplay.
