Witch Rise
Critic Reviews for Witch Rise
While Witch Rise looks the part, thanks to its first-person perspective and interplay between 3D and 2D assets, it doesn't deliver what you'd expect from a great old-school FPS.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Witch Rise and if you like cute games that simplify existing gameplay formulas then I'm sure you will, too. Before diving in for yourself, just keep in mind how short it is and that certain aspects can be a little annoying to deal with. đ·
Sadly, even though there was some potential in its premise, Witch Rise is the kind of the game that will attract players based on how easy it is to get some trophies, not its actual features.
Even in a first-person perspective this retro dungeon-crawling adventure lacks excitement
I canât imagine playing Witch Rise long enough to get bored by any of it. Itâs a Ratalaika-published game, which means youâll unlock all its trophies long, long before youâve explored every nook and cranny of the dungeon and defeated the eponymous witch. If trophies are all youâre after, that may be enough, but otherwise, itâs hard to feel too enthused about any of this.
