If you like games with a lot of collecting, community events and busy work, then Everafter Falls will be the game for you; it’s a heartwarming escape into a world where simplicity and friendship reign supreme. The blend of farming, fishing, and fighting, coupled with innovative mechanics like card-eating and supportive drones and your handy pet, creates a refreshing and engaging gameplay experience. Whether you’re playing solo or with a friend, Everafter Falls is a charming village and a place you’ll want to return to time and time again.
Everafter Falls certainly takes some notes from similar games in the genre. At the same time, it feels oddly constrained and vaguely incomplete. If you're wanting to try a different flavor of Stardew-clone, this one might be something of an acquired taste.
Overall, this is an enjoyable game, and a solid entry into the farming sim genre. If you’re a fan of cosy games and you love trying out new titles, then Everafter Falls is definitely worth a play. (...) Is it as good as other titles such as Stardew Valley or Coral Island? No. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still have a fun experience with it, and sometimes it’s fun to try something new.
