DiscStorm Reviews
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if this game appears on browsers in the next year, and this same team will take off the training wheels and fully express their creative freedom in a truly definitive future product.
Discstorm is a fun game to play with friends, but single player needs more love, characters could use more variation and some kinks could be ironed out.
…if you can't beat it like Michael Jackson, you'll be falling into its big open booby trap: repetitiveness
DiscStorm has a core that's well designed and engaging, especially when the player faces enemies who are able to throw their own discs and move around well.
DiscStorm is a fun arena-based game but it doesn't seem like a finished product. There are a lot of elements to it that can keep people playing for hours, but after a while when the “new toy” feeling fades away you may just find yourself wondering what can you do now.
DiscStorm is the spiritual successor to Windjammers in many ways, but pathetic AI and gameplay that feels unrewarding hurts the overall experience.
