Pokémon legends ZA Is fun, it's a finished pokémon game that stand way above last entries. It's not great, but it's a cool comfort food, that allow to be hopeful for the future. However, keep your expectations to a reasonable height, it's still the laziest franchise in the industry, it
Pokemon Z-A POTENTIAL WASTED.
Combat is Clunky:
the pokemon have HOME next to you so they run up attack run back during the LONG COOL DOWNS between move use.
The Enemy AI has no Cooldown and can Spam Attacks this becomes a MAJOR ISSUE if Multiple pokemon spawn or in the Battle Royal
Out of every Main Line Pokemon Game from Gen 1 to ZA, Pokemon Legends ZA is the one I dislike the most.
Positives -
The battle style is cool
Similar catching style to Legends Arceus but not as good
Negatives:
The plot is diabolical
The battle grind is horrendous
There is almost zero exploration beyond getting
Pokémon Legends ZA feels like a real breath of fresh air for the series. The gameplay is fast, fluid, and genuinely fun, and the level of detail in the Pokémon themselves is fantastic. I’m loving pretty much everything about it. It finally feels like the series is moving forward instead
the developers decided to create 1 door and 1 window in Paint, and pasted in the whole map, also out of over 1k pokemon, they put 250 or so, glitches, and bad graphics, before the game was even out they announced a 30 bucks dlc .
I think this game is super fun but with some criticism necessary. While I will say there are points that feel were missed (if you were attached to a particular xy character, very likely they are basically in the shadow realm barring a few plot relevant ones) this game does
A fresh new take on the Pokémon formula. Playing on Switch 2 and it’s pretty good. A lot of people seem to forget this is a spin off title.
Probably one of the strongest entries in Pokemon in a while. First attempt to shake-up the formula that's actually really worked.
I don’t think I ever really had any hype for this game. Even though Arceus (which I played for at least 60 hours) is my favorite Pokémon game, I still thought I’d have at least some fun with this one. And honestly, the battle system looked pretty fun before I
Pokemon Yellow Version taught me how to read when I was 4 years old. Since then, I've played and beaten every single mainline game in the franchise, even going as far as completing the pokedex in many of them... needless to say, I am a HUGE Pokemon fan. That being
I have a Pikachu tattoo that I drew myself.
And a matching poncho.
I've made oil painting still-life's of chubby Pikachu.
This is the worst Pokémon game thus far.
How dare you do these terrible things to this beloved franchise.
What kinds of things?
The smallest map.
It's suffocating.
No reflections or transparencies on pictures of windows. No
Excellent fresh new take on the standard pokemon formula. Action combat with timed cool downs on moves makes this a new experience for the franchise. You, the trainer, can get hurt by the wild, aggressive Pokemon. You can easily swap between your active party members,
Man I love Pokemon. But lets be real, this game is really poorly-delivered. Lack of art direction, voice acting, animations, and overall care. The visual story-telling and some transitions are really discouraging by how low-effort they are. Do not make me talk about the png-style flat "style". The gameplay is
It’s a great game, so it’s a shame that some haters are making people unable to see the proper score — a kind of blind hatred without even playing the game. Well, maybe that’s all the poor can do.
They’ve definitely made real progress this time. I played it on the Switch 2, and it features impressive graphics, smooth performance, and beautiful art that vividly brings to life a city coexisting with Pokémon. The quality of the side quests is excellent. It’s a remarkable attempt, and it makes me
Finished the game and caught the legendaries. Wanna preface this by saying I think Legends Arceus is the best pokemon game to date. It's wasn't perfect but it had a solid foundation that they SHOULD have used for Z-A to build on. Z-A completely throws that foundation out the window.
