On the Marvel’s Ant-Man table, players will experience the breathtaking action of the upcoming Marvel Studios film as they’ll engage in heated combat with Yellowjacket in a multiball fight, duke it out as shrunken Ant-Man, help Hope Van Dyne train Scott Lang, and have an active role in side stories featuring Ant-Man and his friends. Heroes don’t get any bigger! We’re doing things with the Marvel’s Ant-Man table that will be completely new to both our game and the pinball genre as a whole, including shrinking pinballs and crazy new mini-games that will undoubtedly excite our biggest (and smallest) fans. We can’t wait to give all of our players a shot at this table!

Despite having a bit of a learning curve, Ant-Man has quickly become one of my favorite tables that Zen has produced. It really ties in well with the Ant-Man character and world without having to retell the events of the film.

While the table appears barren, looks can be deceiving and it is just as intricate as any other you may have sunk hours into previously. It might not be highly innovative, but it doesn't stop it being another highly addictive addition by those pinball wizards over at Zen.

The new Ant-Man table for Zen Pinball shows that the development team at Zen Studios can deliver great work when it is dealing with the intellectual property of other companies and Marvel seems to have made a particularly good partner.

Like the other Marvel-related tables before it, Ant-Man is pretty solid. The table has a nice design that lets players do some careful planning instead of relying on flipper mashing, and the generous rewards ensure that some high scores can be obtained rather easily. The various side activities are different enough from past tables to be enjoyable, and the presentation lives up to the company's standard. As long as you can ignore the odd choice in sound effects, Ant-Man is another table that digital pinball aficionados will want in their collections.
