Critic Reviews for Little Rocket Lab
Little Rocket Lab is about as cozy an introduction to automation as could be imagined, with a cast of likable characters in a run-down, charming town.
Little Rocket Lab is a lovely game, and an essential pick for fans of cosy games, but its systems are deep enough that I think the Factorio and Satisfactory players out there will still get a kick out of it.
So that’s Little Rocket Lab. For fans of Spiritfarer, My Time at Sandrock, or Automation Academy, this is an easy recommendation. But more than that—it’s a game that feels good to play. Peaceful, rewarding, and quietly inspiring. You start by fixing old machines… and before long, you realize you’ve fixed the town, and maybe even a little piece of yourself too.
Little Rocket Lab is a charming blend of cozy creativity and clever design, turning the usually complex world of automation into something warm and wonderfully satisfying. It is progress without pressure, where every new machine and small success feels rewarding rather than demanding, whilst simply watching St Ambroise slowly come back to life gives the game a real sense of heart. And who knows, maybe you’ll get to make it to the stars by the end? It’s fun, engaging, and joyful from start to finish, and whether you’re here for the tinkering or the tranquillity that comes with it, Little Rocket Lab is an easy game to fall in love with.
