Critic Reviews for Color Symphony 2
Color Symphony 2 is reasonable in that it does what it sets out to do. Unfortunately, it doesn't excel in any particular way. The use of color is clever, if not completely original, while the puzzle and platforming design is competent at best. Nothing stands out in a way that says "you must play this." Platformer and puzzle game fans who pick this up will have a good time, but everybody else can pass on Color Symphony 2.
Although Color Symphony 2 introduces an original idea, it needs to work on some aspects in order to draw the player in. The story needs to be fleshed out more, and extra variation in graphics and audio would work wonders to stop the game feeling repetitive. Those who enjoy puzzle platformers will enjoy the premise (at least for a little while), but this could do much more to reel in a wider audience.
I genuinely think it's impossible to beat some of the levels without dying due to unseen platforms that are off the screen.
While its art style is pleasant and the gameplay mechanics should be praised for pushing it beyond the usual, Color Symphony 2 takes it a bit too far and will fall out with both the casual audience and the more dedicated players.

Color Symphony 2 is a very interesting, unique and minimalist release with clever puzzle mechanics. Yes, it can be frustrating in places, but I have enjoyed playing this wonderful title for my Color Symphony 2 review. The only thing I didn't like was the music – I found it to be a bit distractive. A more mellow choice for the soundtrack would have been a better option.
Color Symphony 2 is a great addition to an Xbox One gamer's library. Hinges on the player's appreciation for unique platformers
