Radial-G : Racing Revolved (VR) Reviews
The game nails a few concepts, but does not evolve beyond that
Radial-G is a solid futuristic racer for Sony’s virtual reality platform, but will be quickly forgotten once others enter the platform
Unless you’ve been quite literally chewing your own arm off waiting for a futuristic VR racer, it’s probably best to wait for this one to go on sale in a few months’ time, because it’s neither good enough to give a solid recommendation, nor bad enough to swear off; it’s just…fine and uninspired.
Radial-G: Racing Revolved provides the kind of VR experience you were hoping for when you bought your PSVR. Strap in and hold on tight.
I'm giving this one a 'Not Bad'. It's not a terribly bad game and there were some flashes of brilliance, but unfortunatley it's just not quite there. At least not yet. Perhaps a sequel could right the wrongs and get this racer back on track.
Since Radial-G Racing Revolved is one of the few futuristic PSVR racers on the market, it may be worth a cursory glance. Unfortunately, I can see it becoming obsolete once a juggernaut like Wipeout VR comes into the fray.
