Critic Reviews for Organic Panic
Playing with others is definitely the way to go, but if you want to kill a few hours here or there, Organic Panic is the perfect time-waster.
The gameplay which I would say is part platformer, part destruction, part puzzler, all feels rather well done. The interface is a little basic, the story is throw away, and at times and the screen tearing can drive me absolutely bonkers when it happens. Otherwise I found an extremely enjoyable and unique title.
When Organic Panic is operating as a pure puzzler, it's an absolute delight. Unfortunately, though, the clever brainteasers crafted by Last Limb are frequently interrupted by clumsy and frustrating combat sequences.
Organic Panic introduces a well-designed war between Meat & Cheese and Fruit & Vegetables. Deceivingly difficult, this game is as time consuming and entertaining as it is frustrating to advance.
Organic Panic! does enough to deserve a place near the top of the pile as it’s more than just another platformer; it’s inventive, amusing and a joy to play
I really liked Organic Panic not least for its whimsy and lack of pretension. It is what it is, a neat little game well worth the price tag, Go buy it for whatever platform you choose, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC. You won’t be sorry.
'Organic Panic' is a pastiche of several games and genre staples that have come before it. It is good fun for its nostalgia value for those players who have enjoyed its influences in years past and appreciate its time-tested mechanics, but it struggles to find its place amongst the many good platformers available.
Although it can be frustrating, I had a good time with Organic Panic.
