Extra content and a lower new-game cost accentuates a gratifying experience that's filled with content that Dynasty Warriors fans have grown to love.
Without question the biggest, best looking, and most refined Warriors title on the battlefield, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition is an absolute must buy for fans, while newcomers will find themselves jumping into the action at the most opportune time. Although the franchise will have to grind its recurring issues into dust before its next outing, we have a feeling that you won't be seeing an entry that's this robust for a long, long time.
Dynasty Warriors fans will have their fun here, and people who missed out on the original release will have a ton to play through while having some mindless fun.
Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition is equally great on PS4 and Vita, full of new stuff to do, and introducing some of the best characters to debut in the series. It's a great way to reincentivize the most enjoyable Warriors game since DW3, and it looks suitably pretty to boot.
I can't get enough of Dynasty Warriors games, and Xtreme Legends is immediately my favourite PlayStation 4 game. The sheer weight of content that is packed into the game can't be overstated; this is a big, chunky game that demands a lot of time to work all the way through it, but every step of the way is a truly entertaining one.
