Lost Castle Reviews
If roguelikes are your cup of tea, you probably won’t find much gripe with Lost Castle. Seeing all the characters you could possibly be is enjoyable, and working through your skill tree feels rewarding, but the grind and repetition of much of the gameplay make you question whether it’s worth the hours.
Even though Lost Castle features simple and typical gameplay, its multiplayer implementation and variety make it worthwhile.
Amidst an ever-increasing pile of roguelikes on the Nintendo Switch comes Lost Castle. A new-to-Switch title that boasts 150+ weapons, 80+ items, randomly generated everything, and four-player co-op. Sadly, it almost feels like I’ve heard all of this before.
If you're looking for an extreme challenge with no payoff, you found it in Lost Castle.
