Farabel Reviews
My time with Farabel was fun not only because of the twist on gameplay but also the lightheartedness of it all. Farabel tried a twist of gameplay and in this case, it worked out, something that isn't always the case. Fans of turned-based strategy RPGs should certainly check this game out.
A light diversion from the usual fare.
Put simply, Farabel is tough. To some, it may seem unfairly so, although the strategy and tactics required to actually make your way through the game are enticing.
Strategy games are woefully under-represented on the Switch but perhaps the bigger issue is the lack of high-quality entries for the genre...
Farabel is an experience where sacrifices must be made, but is the sacrifice of your time worth it in the end?
Overall though, releasing this close to the end of the year, Farabel is definitely a stealth turned based strategy hit. While not overly long, the elements in place make for quite a difference from your normal bouts of armies and heroes going up against one another.
