Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul Reviews
Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul has some problems with the controls and doesn't last long, but the atmosphere is great and all this is enough to make it an interesting horror game.

Technically the game is on a high level. The graphics are clean, there is only a slight edge flickering here and there and the texts are sometimes a bit hard to read. The sound is terrific and contributes wonderfully to the scary atmosphere. The immersion is fantastic! You have this oppressive feeling all the time and sometimes it runs down your back. Of course you can't miss Jumpscares, but they are cleverly placed and not too often. The first time you go through the house you need - depending on how anxious you are - about 3 to 5 hours.

Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul often seems more like a budget random haunted house game than a true Paranormal Activity experience, and that’s unfortunate. For fans of the franchise, you will get a kick out of the connections, but it’s not the next thing to play after the films or something necessary to get more out of the films, or even to get a true Paranormal Activity experience in VR.
Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul offers an enjoyably eerie escapade through a haunted house, with the game certainly living up to the series’ reputation of providing genuine frights. There are plenty of scares to be had throughout your time exploring, whilst the fact that they’re randomly placed means you’ll never know when to expect them. It does have its flaws thanks to the plethora of locked doors, lack of consistent interactivity, and the focus on just finding objects, but they won’t stop the game from providing some real thrills. If you want a genuinely creepy horror experience on Playstation VR then Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul will definitely be for you.
