Puzzle Box Maker is packed with content. There are over 100 premade levels ready to play and an awesome mode where you can create you very own challenging levels for others to try. While it does seem a bit simplistic at times, its a fun game that will keep you busy for a while.

Puzzle Box Maker is a fun and varied package with several types of experiences to enjoy so that players of all ages and skill levels can have a go. The level creation tools are simple to use and allow you to build a ton of stages, greatly increasing the replay value of the game – and even more so when you add the potential for playing the hundreds of levels being created by players around the world. If you like colorful puzzle games, then you should give this one a go.

The bigger problem is the Crawl mode, and the random placement of certain objects. It loses some of the polish found in other places of this collection. Overall though, alone or with a friend, Puzzle Box Maker offers hours of content for those willing to jump in.

Taking in the big pixelated picture Puzzle Box Maker is a niche title that’s important to have available as an option in the Switch library. There’s absolutely nothing quite like it on the system and that makes it both a major risk and refreshing to see. Conceivably there’s a never-ending amount of content possible with it, you just need to be very aware of the limits of what is capable of. If you’d like to explore your creative side and be able to experience your art in a unique way, or particularly if you’re raising a younger gamer who still isn’t quite ready for prime time, this could be a great title to explore.
