While Nintendo Switch isn't short on puzzle games, it's still got plenty of room for those with a clever twist at their heart. Warp Shift has plenty of creativity at its own core, offering up an engaging twist on some simple principles. While it may be a little light on the narrative - a crying shame considering how interesting the world beyond its puzzles appear - there's still plenty of brain-teasing fun to be had in its charming company.
If you are looking for a puzzle game to spend a couple hours enjoying, Warp Shift is a great choice. Its design is unique and pleasing to the eye, and the puzzles themselves are a challenging yet relaxing way to spend some downtime.
Warp Shift is a puzzle game that is joyful in its accessibility and expansive in its complexity. It's a whimsical experience for players who might only be able to muster one star on its levels, but also provides the depth needed for hardcore fans.
Warp Shift is an impressive puzzle game with absolutely fantastic visuals and sound.
Warp Shift is great. I enjoyed almost every aspect of it. It wasn’t too short and it wasn’t too long. There was no pure frustration over the mazes and I could plot out my solution with ease. I am so glad they incorporated a story into this game because I feel like most puzzle games gloss over a need for that. This game is a great addition to the Nintendo Switch library but you can also pick it up on iOS and Android if you prefer it on those platforms.
