Critic Reviews for Johnny Turbo's Arcade: Sly Spy
Sly Spy is yet another excellent slice of uncompromised, over-the-top arcade top action that will surely fit in snugly along the previous Johnny Turbo Arcade releases.
As other memorable coin-ops, Sly Spy debuts on Switch with the same pros & cons that other classic games seen on the Johnny Turbos' Arcade series: it's an experience that, by today standards, falls too short (10-12 minutes to complete) and the emulation doesn't offer too many options (no "DIP switches", different versions of the game by region...).

For a James Bond fan like me, this game's right up my alley with all its nods to the iconic agent, even if it's only the length of a sitcom from start to finish.
Sly Spy is a short and to the point arcade game that is perfectly emulated on Nintendo Switch. The Johnny Turbo's Arcade series has been doing a great job in letting us enjoy some arcade classics at home or on the go, and I look forward to playing the rest of their games very soon!
There may not be many retro James Bond games but Sly Spy certainly does a decent job of filling 007's shoes.
Sly Spy is a decent entry in the Johnny Turbo Arcade lineup, bringing a decent action game to home systems in a more cost-efficient method than the out of print Data East Wii disc. Like Gate of Doom, you won’t be able to adjust any of the DIP Switch settings, which means you can’t make the game easier or harder, rather annoyingly.
Sly Spy is a short and fun arcade experience you can play at home or on the go. You're looking at 30-40 minutes at most to complete the game depending on your skill, as is usually the case for arcade games from ages past. The Johnny Turbo's Arcade continues to grow, and I look forward to playing more games in the series!
