A tribute to the classic arcade of the 80s, but with a twist that we like a lot. The games in Switch or PC are a challenge, where the design of levels is delicious. It is difficult not to play again and again a level until you get over it. A title for classic hearts, but also for young people wanting to have fun.

Eternum EX is like a trip back in time, a game with plenty of fun that, nevertheless, may end up being kind of repetitive. Still, it is a good opportunity to enjoy once more the challenges of the traditional arcade.

If you really long for those days of playing Street Fighter II and Metal Slug while you wait for your Book It group's pizza to come out, you might want to give Eternum EX a look. I feel like it needs a two-player mode to keep things fresh because otherwise it runs out of steam pretty quickly.

Eternum EX is a fun and short arcade-style 2D platformer that pays homage to old-school releases while doing its own thing. If you're good at games of this genre, then you're looking at around an hour or so for completing the game in either one of its modes. Levels are short and to the point, which is not a bad thing when you're looking for that type of experience. Are you up for the challenge?

While it has a retro appeal both visually and in terms of its feel aside from giving you something that’s easy to pick up and put down and that throws increasingly-difficult stages at you there’s not a great deal to it. In terms of complaints other than the limits of what it will offer I will say that the hitbox for your weapon and monsters sometimes feels a little big but with time you get used to the range and can generally compensate. Likely for older or retro gaming fans who appreciate what feels like a pretty authentic arcade experience.
