Critic Reviews for Iris.Fall
Iris.Fall is a deliberately bite-sized experience and could easily be completed in a single sitting. Whether this amounts to value for money obviously depends on your perspective, but given the relative cost compared to a DVD or Blu-ray I think it is worth picking up to experience the artistry at hand here. The visual design is exemplary and the narrative is pleasing enough. Definitely a game that is worth a look if you like the art style and the idea of the puzzles, but be prepared for a couple of frustrating moments. Iris.Fall shouldn't be left in the shadows.
A brief but mesmerising monochrome puzzler which constantly impresses with its audio/visual brevity, and occasionally stumps you with some impassable brain-teasers. Highly recommended for fans of graphic novels and puzzles, but with the caveat that you'll be on a YouTube walkthrough at least once during your time with Iris.Fall.
It’s beautiful, it has great music, it shows promise in its themes, but that’s about it.
The puzzles in Iris.Fall can sometimes be momentum killers, and they will likely cause some players to leave the game unfinished despite its short duration. However, those who stick with it will be rewarded with an experience that never ceases to visually delight (and reward) the player.
While Iris.Fall is a bit shorter than we'd like for it's $39.99 USD price tag it's still a journey we're glad we took! The game has some of the most innovative puzzles we've seen in a game on any platform! Couple the innovation that uses objects in the light and shadow worlds with some spectacular animation and you have a clear cut winner for one of the best puzzle games ever on the Nintendo Switch platform!
Though most of the puzzles are lacking in challenge, Iris.Fall delivers an amazing art style which definately worth immersing.

If you are looking for a puzzle-solving adventure that will keep you on your toes, Iris.Fall is well worth your time.
Visually speaking, Iris.Fall is very pleasing. However, the magic ends when you realize you have a title with frustrating puzzles, poorly used mechanics and a disappointing replay factor.
