Farm Together Reviews
Designing the farm is fun, and the gameplay loops and unlocks keep you coming back for more
If it wasn’t for its mobile gaming elements, Farm Together would be easy to recommend. As it is, it’s a fun game to play in short bursts, but there’s no overlooking its bewildering design choices.
Hands down, Farm Together is the most immersive, enjoyable and accessible farming game that I’ve ever played. Everyone I know loves this game, I cannot recommend it enough.
Being able to live in a peaceful farmland is a gift any human being would take up the offer to stay far from the stressful city life. Although the first impression of this game may seem pretty light in form, the mechanics of the game is deep enough to have convenient features and some of the online functionalities seem like they've been thoroughly tested. Since the game has very chill vibes, you’ll sometimes get confused on where to start off with, but just being able to watch the firewood crackling as they burn and watching plants grow can become a healing activity for your mind.

Farm Together is like an addictive mobile phone game but with modern graphics and none of those annoying ads or Microtransactions. Either with friends or solo, this game is the definition of fun, a time-waster, and relaxing. When you’re not sowing seeds or planting trees, you’ll be harvesting fruit, fishing, picking up eggs, or even playing ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ on the piano. There’s a lot to do and see down on the farm, the farm which you can fully customise and create into your own paradise or a simple allotment.
The game has been designed to take all of the hassle out of farm sims, to present the bare-bones, yet lavish enough love and attention to the product so you want to keep on playing - to grow the next crop, to get the next cool thing, to level both yourself and your farm and even then, keep on making money to unlock the higher tier items. There are no experience boosters you can buy with cash, there's no shortcuts you can do in this game - you have to play it - and in the game industry full of Ubisoft's time-saver packs, EA's short-cuts and publishers clamouring on about how no one has time any more to play games and unlock all the things - it's a refreshing game to play.
