Critic Reviews for Treasure Stack
Overall it’s quite a bit of fun and the lure to unlock the next item or character is there… but it also ends up being very repetitive very quickly.
Treasure Stack‘s unique twist on a familiar genre makes for addictive and engaging gameplay – but it’s not going to be for everyone.
I desperately want to love Treasure Stack, but as it is right now, it's a colorful sketch of a video game at best. Simply, there just isn't much of anything to do and a frustrating interface and a seemingly absent online landscape (including crossplay with Xbox One and PC) makes the future for this heavily online-focused game look bleak. Maybe someday this could be a richer, fuller experience, but it isn't right now.
It may not be the most original or rewarding game out there but Treasure Stack is certainly a solid and fun competitive puzzler.
Treasure Stack is like a busy hardcore Tetris. You at the bottom of the shaft, treasure chests falling on your head, you fighting agains time and others.

GOOD - Treasure Stack is a fun puzzle game that plays it safe and doesn’t draw outside the lines. It’s great to see another developer run with the Wario’s Woods concept, but unfortunately it fails to outdo that game, which Switch Online members can play right now via the NES app for free.
Treasure Stack has something going for it. It’s fun and seriously challenging and has a good and varied multiplayer. With some post-launch support, this game could easily become a must-grab. Treasure Stack makes its big splash on March 1st, 2019. It will be released for both PC and Console platforms. The game was developed and published by Pixelakes LLC and sells for $19.99.
It has its moments, but the price of admission with Treasure Stack's warts-n-all presentation might steer a few players away from the genuine genius this game provides.
