Apsulov: End of Gods is a worthy counterpart to other great Norse games of recent years. With only a small development team, it can't match the presentation of some of the games that inspired it, but it makes up for this with a distinctive character. Taking the ideas of Doom 3 and Dead Space and mixing them up with Norse mythology, this is a really interesting and enjoyable horror experience.
Apsulov combines horror, sci-fi and Norse mythology in one intriguing mix, but the gameplay lacks depth and interesting mechanics.

Apsulov: End of Gods isn’t likely to set anyone’s world on fire – there’s nothing here that’s going to truly wow you. It is a well-constructed horror-adventure, however, and once it’s sucked you in it doesn’t let go until the credits roll. If you have a love of Norse mythology and want to see it successfully blended with a futuristic sci-fi setting to good effect, Apsulov: End of Gods comes highly recommended. Others might want to jump in, too, if they like games that offer something just a bit different.
Apsulov: End of Gods is a correct title, without great problems, but also without great virtues. It can give four or five hours of fun to anyone who gets caught up in its interesting mix of science fiction and Norse mythology, but it weighs too much for them that its narrative formula and playable structure are too attached to the topics already seen a thousand times within the genre. of first person horror games.
