Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a masterpiece JRPG-genre. I used to look a bit envious at Playstation 3 owners because of this title, and I'm glad I finally caught up with the game in 4K. Disappointing, however, is the lack of new additions to the remaster. New content, extras or gameplay improvements, such as more monsters or a New Game+ mode, could have convinced owners of the original to buy the remastered Version. The new version is a recommendation for all latecomers and seemingly the version to choose if you are new to the saga. Personally, I had about 60 great hours with this really beautiful game, and I am motivated to start all over, to let the unique atmosphere of the game affect me again. If you are interested in the anime of Studio Ghibli or Japanese role-playing games, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is an absolute must buy.

Ni No Kuni embodies every child’s dream of becoming the hero – or heroine – of their own fantasy tale, but spins it in such a way that is inviting to even the most seasoned of adventurers.

This is one game that I genuinely enjoyed playing through and I think the satisfaction the story brought is absolutely worth that price tag.

We are dealing with a decaffeinated edition that does not bring anything new to the original PlayStation 3 game, but for those who haven't played it yet, it undoubtedly gives you an opportunity to do it in an indisputable quality that will sometimes make you think that you are watching classical animation instead of a game.
