Critic Reviews for Lethis - Path of Progress

Lethis: Path of Progress shows some real potential and brims with character but ends up feeling like a struggle against the fiddly controls and the path mechanics seemingly just doing their own thing despite your best efforts ultimately leading to frustration.

Lethis - Path of Progress on the Nintendo Switch is an interesting effort when it comes to a city building simulation, adding to it a steampunk aesthetic which is unusual in this style of games. However, the game's problems with performance, technical issues and overall behaviour turns out to be rather lacklustre, despite having somethings in its favour.

Lethis had potential. The idea of a steampunk city builder is appealing and does delight the imagination on premise alone. In execution, though, there's virtually nothing of the steampunk concept, beyond the aesthetics, and the game is so stiflingly limited in how it plays that it becomes dull before measure far, far too soon.
