Biped Reviews
I first encountered Biped at PAX East, repeatedly walking by the booth on the way to other appointments and seeing small crowds forming and having a great time...
So overall, Biped is an amazing coop experience for you and someone else. The stages are fun, the levels are appropriately challenging, and the graphics are super cute with fun music to add to the atmosphere. Being on the Switch also helps for you to bring it along as long as you’re being safe in the current climate that we find ourselves in with Social Distancing.
Overall, Biped was a cute cooperative experience that my boyfriend and I both enjoyed. While there isn't a lot of dialogue in the game, the Bipeds had character. This is a perfect game for a wide range of age groups and is a great buy for it's price. As such, Biped receives an 8.5 out of 10 in my books.
Biped is a cooperative game full of fun and suitable for kids and kids at heart. My only wish is that there was more to enjoy.
Biped is a unique 3d "platformer" with a really interesting way of moving your character. Entertaining in both single player and co-op, Biped is packed full of creative obstacles and unique challenges.
Despite some noticeable performance issues, utterly frustrating controls at times, and sometimes ridiculously hard sections, I actually found Biped an enjoyable game. I wouldn’t recommend it for a young audience though; it’s too demoralising, as just holding a direction for a fraction of a second too long or sometimes even the game itself flinging you too far off a ramp can mean death. It’s cute, quirky, and I love the idea, but it needs some tweaks and polishing before I’d go back and try for the optional challenges.
