Critic Reviews for Castle Pals

Castle Pals uses clever character and level designs to create a somewhat fresh-feeling platforming experience. The short and sweet levels are meant to be completed quickly, and it's certainly fun while it lasts.

Castle Pals is a cheap cheerful little coffee game. It doesn’t reinvent the challenging platform formula. But it has a nice little heart. For some reason, playing this game put a bit of a smile on my face; I think it was just because of how happy the characters looked. Or maybe it gave me that childhood nostalgia of when I had a cool red hat. I may not have found an adventure like this when I was younger, but I certainly enjoyed Kylee and Owen’s trip into a weird castle.

Castle Pals is not a must play in the Nintendo Switch library, but it is a game worth trying if you are interested in simple platform titles.

Castle Pals is not the best of its kind, but it will ensure a good time hooked on the controls until it is completed, although it is very short: in a couple of hours you will have squeezed it.
