Unfortunately, as expected, MindsEye is off to a pretty rough start. A lack of reviews ahead of its launch, coupled with higher-ups leaving the studio with days to go until release, had people worried MindsEye might have issues. Now it's finally here, and it has taken a single day for some of its players to start asking for refunds.
While most players issued refunds haven't shared the platform on which they've been playing MindsEye, it's the ones who are claiming they're getting their money back on PlayStation, and sharing the evidence to prove it, that will be the most concerning for the game's devs. PlayStation has a very strict refund policy that's usually pretty difficult to take advantage of.

The only big game in recent memory that has had PlayStation offering refunds to anyone who requests them is Cyberpunk 2077. Even though PlayStation's support page makes it clear that you are not eligible for a refund if you have downloaded and played a game, anyone who requested a refund for Cyberpunk during its rocky launch period was issued one.
