Early this month, Microsoft and Square Enix made good on their promise to bring more Final Fantasy titles to the Xbox platform, revealing that Final Fantasy 16 was available immediately, and that Final Fantasy 7 Remake would be available before the end of the year.
Normally, that would be a cause for celebration. However, according to two separate reports, there are some outstanding concerns, as Final Fantasy 16 hasn't sold particularly well so far, and it is also seemingly poorly optimized on top of all that.
You can now play every single mainline Final Fantasy on Xbox. Well, except for 11.
To start, as first reported by Push Square, analytics firm Alinea Analytics is reporting that the port has only managed to sell 22,000 copies on the Xbox platform.
The firm's word came on the heels of it being reported that FF16 was No. 443 on the Xbox "Most Played" leaderboard, next to titles that were either backwards compatible or years-old releases.
