40 People Turned Up To Protest A New World Server Shutting Down And It Actually Worked

I've always had a soft spot for New World, but it's hard to be positive about the game when player numbers continue to fall after a momentary return due to last year's New World: Aeternum launch. Due to falling player numbers, Amazon Games announced that it was going to shut down its AP Southeast and SA servers.

It's about time another studio included a little bit of New World's magic in a new MMO.

Loyal players would have had to play on NA West servers, or the next nearest available server to their location, and face the likelihood of playing on at least 200 ping and in a different time zone. It's all a bit sad, really, so some players turned up to protest.
