Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater appears to be about as faithful a remake of a beloved game as it gets. So faithful that the two very silly ways you could defeat its final boss in the original PS2 version of the game have been left in.

The boss is called The End, a sterotypically on-the-nose name from Hideo Kojima. The End was waiting to pick you off with a sniper rifle at the end of the original Snake Eater, and he's still waiting for you now, all these years later, at the end of Metal Gear Solid Delta. The game's final fight is a tricky one, made even harder if you've forgotten to pick up the sniper rifle. That's unless you simply wait until The End dies of old age.

Yes, in another sterotypically Kojima move, The End is so old - he's 100 when you fight him, bet that makes you feel bad - that if you just wait around, he'll keel over and miss out on the chance to have one last epic battle. You'll need to wait out the veteran for two weeks, though. To do that, you'll have to save your game...
