The last few months have been a mixed cycle of ups and downs for Roblox. While the platform mostly has games that are typically targeted at children. It gained a lot of popularity among older audiences with Dress to Impress, along with some other games like Doors, various versions of Squid Game, and more.

This gave the CEO a very questionable idea of pitching the platform as a Dating site. Which, shockingly, wasn't exactly new and something they had in plans since 2023. Now, this should raise a flag for most people, as this platform is known for having an audience of children.

And as sad as the reality is, a platform of this size will, unfortunately, attract predators. But Roblox made matters worse for themselves when, instead of supporting the creators trying to fight this problem, they banned Schlep and sent him a cease and desist for making To Catch A Predator-esque videos on Roblox.
