While players are still waiting on pins and needles for Bethesda's next major Fallout project, Fallout 4 still has a massive player-base and extremely active community. With the recent launch of Fallout 4's Anniversary Edition, however, fans were a bit disappointed to fire up the new version and be overwhelmed by bugs, performance issues, and crashes.
As such, Bethesda has just launched a major Fallout 4 performance update after the Anniversary Edition's release last month, focusing on improvements to UI, crash and stability fixes, and more (via Steam). The update went live yesterday and is available to download now on Steam and console.
After the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition's shaky launch last month, which caused the highly-regarded Bethesda hit to drop to "Mostly Negative" user review ratings temporarily due to bugs, players have been waiting for a patch that would address some of these problems.
